relationship of sleep to pain. The researchers
studied 18 people properly and allowed in four nights to sleep at night
as usual sleep system (where slept 7.8 hours), and in four nights, made
them sleep 10 hours a night. After each phase,
researchers conducted a test to withstand pain measures the length of
time for which the volunteer has put his finger on an issue, and the
results were, where researchers found that after 10 hours sleep, bear
the pain by 25% and was higher than the impact of 40 mg of codeine,
which inhabit the pain effectively. The results
of this study and its applications are very important, especially that
research showed that about 30% of adults suffer from chronic pain,
particularly lower back pain. Sleep sufficient hours may alleviate pain in people suffering from chronic pain and reduces the need for painkillers.
