Healthy lifestyle reduces the risk of heart attacks

Britain has only eight years to reduce deaths caused by heart attacks in half, to persuade the healthy lifestyle, as well as provide better treatment for heart patients, so that there are approximately eight million people in England now is taking a statin drug.

Despite the significant decline in deaths due to heart attacks, Britain remains the largest European countries experiencing high rates of cardiovascular crises, and the British Heart Foundation.

Between 2002-2010 men's death rates fell because of the heart of crises 78.7 to 39.2 cases per 100 000 people.

In the same period, there was a decrease in deaths due to heart attacks among women to 17.7 per 100,000 instead of 37.3.

One of the reasons for this decline, the significant decrease in smoking prevalence of preventive drugs, such as those for blood thinners and cholesterol such as statin drug, which means that a smaller percentage of people suffer from heart attacks in the first place.

Professor Peter weisberg, Medical Director of the British Heart Association: "the last decade has witnessed remarkable development in the field of cardiovascular crises prevention treatment, which led to a significant reduction in the number of people dying of the disease."

"Statin drug played an important role in this success story, this property is without a doubt a treat heart disease for the better, thanks there are thousands living in our world today in good condition."

"This accomplishment achieved in ten years worth celebrating, but coronary artery disease was defeated and remains the largest cause of death in the United Kingdom".

Statistics show British Heart organization to more than 42% of persons who have suffered a heart attack died in 2002 compared to only 30 percent in 2010.
