Study linking some medicines and bacterial pneumonia deaths

A recent study pointed to a link using medicines with soothing and hypnotic effect, known as a "bnzodayazibinz" (Benzodiazepines) have a higher risk of lung infections caused by bacterial infection, in addition to death as a result.

In its latest edition published the journal "Thorax" British study applied to about 5,000 patients suffered inflammation of the lungs, known as bacterial pneumonia in British society, from 2001 to 2002.

He said: "it is not fully understood how these drug therapies widely used, despite the restrictions issued by prescription".
